The Soloist talks each other of a movie of biographical category, interpreted of quite correct form for his two protagonists, Robert Downey Jr in the role of Steve Lopez, a reporter of the Los Angeles Steal, that one day discovers in full street, to a man without hearth, but with a big musical talent, and Nathaniel Ayers interpreted by Jamie Foxx, who has pictures of schizophrenia quite difficult to control, added to a big talent. To the being a peli based on a book, which simultaneously is based on real facts, is complicated sometimes having enough aptitude to understand the complex of the case that here desenvolupa., really this peli has left cold to me, obviously that the best thing there are the interpretations of two actors, and although the movie is very well made, I believe that it remains a little slack in some passages, and not really if what the director wants takes shape of the tape, or on the contrary something remains in the inkwell. Sometimes when a topic is of a certain interest for for example the Americans, but fond of a local ambience, as it is the case of this history, it spends that unless the peli has a very good invoice, there become you a bore, insipid in some moment. This is at least what it spent to me. If you are fans of Downey or of Foxx, perhaps you like seeing both in roles out of the habitual ambience, look at it, but do not be too demanding, it is not a movie for it.
